MY APPROACH
I understand that healing isn't linear—it's a courageous journey back to yourself. And by "back to yourself," I mean reconnecting with the grounded, wise presence that exists beneath all the protective strategies you've developed. It's the version of you that was there before survival took over—the one that knows how to listen without judgment, that can hold compassion for all the ways you've learned to cope, and that remembers what feels true and authentic for you.
When clients come to me, they often arrive with a clear inventory of what they want to change: the patterns that feel stuck, the behaviours they've tried to fix, the parts of themselves they've learned to dislike. But here's what I've learned through my own healing journey and through working with others: these behaviours and patterns aren't the problem—they're solutions that worked when you needed them. They were the best solutions available to you—intelligent adaptations to circumstances beyond your control. Clients come to therapy knowing their problems inside out. What they often don't know is what lies beneath them. My role isn't to discuss the problem—it's to help you process the suppressed emotion and pain that's been driving it, so it no longer needs to show up the same way.
I help you understand why your protective parts showed up, and then process the pain they've been protecting. When that deep emotion is finally felt, witnessed, and released, the patterns naturally transform—not because you've forced them to change, but because they no longer need to protect you the same way.
My approach combines Holistic Life Coaching, Havening Therapy, and Compassionate Inquiry to provide a multifaceted healing experience. Each modality serves a purpose: understanding the roots of your patterns, processing suppressed emotions in real time, and restoring connection to your core self.
I believe it takes tremendous bravery and courage to explore our most vulnerable parts. I hold deep reverence for the trust clients place in this process. The relief that comes from being deeply heard and truly understood, from having your pain witnessed without needing to be fixed or rushed through it—this is unparalleled. This is the foundation of everything I do.
You don't need to fix or change the parts of yourself you've been fighting. You need to understand them and finally process what they've been protecting. When you do, you come home to yourself—and you understand yourself with compassion instead of judgment. Your relationship with yourself shifts entirely, and you can start to make choices that align with how you want to think, feel, and move through life.
MY WHY
I do this work because I've lived it. Going through my own healing journey showed me I wanted to support others facing similar struggles. Since then, I've dedicated myself to studying, practising, and exploring modalities that help people access their own inner wisdom and resilience.
My approach blends Neuroscience with Buddhist teachings—understanding that healing is possible when we move from fighting ourselves to understanding ourselves. This shift from judgment to compassion changes everything. Tara Brach speaks to this beautifully when she reminds us that even when we feel most lost, we can return to ourselves: "In any moment, no matter how lost we feel, we can take refuge in presence and love. We need only pause, breathe, and open to the experience of aliveness within us. In that wakeful openness, we come home to the peace and freedom of our natural awareness."
This is the work I'm called to do—helping you restore your sense of safety, connection and joy.
